our approach

Active Life Project utilizes innovative and effective neurofunctional correction that targets the root cause of pain and dysfunction.

We successfully manage the conservative treatment of acute injuries, chronic pain, and performance plateaus by providing individualized treatment protocols and real life strategies necessary for the body to adapt and thrive.

We are chiropractors by trade, but identify as problem solvers who specialize in identifying the most important contributing factors and variables unique to each situation.

Q.

What does our approach mean for you?

You get out of pain and back in the “game” of life (whether that be throwing a 90mph fastball, running 26.2mi, or simply chasing after the grandkids) without the simple prescription of ‘rest’ or relying on problematic pain medications.

Our story. our mission.

Meet Active Life Project

Have you ever woke up in the morning and had pain that seemingly came out of nowhere?

Or had pain that it was all you could think about when you woke up, but it was totally out of your mind when you were busy throughout the day?

Or the occasional chronic pain that always seems to get worse when your stress levels rise?

Most of us have been conditioned since we were kids to equate pain with actual, physical tissue damage. Tissue damage is often present, but if it was the only variable, you might expect that the pain would be more consistent and less subject to change.

At Active Life Project, were have come to learn that pain is actually a conclusion made by the brain with considerations from many contributing factors, not just tissue damage. This conclusion is an evolutionary protective mechanism to alert us that there is a potential problem that needs our attention.

We started Active Life Project because we want to empower people to pursue an active life without limitation or fear of movement.

Our mission is to treat, educate, and empower as many people as possible because we believe that movement is life and no one should be confined to the sidelines.

softwave therapy

SoftWave Therapy is a non-invasive new technology that uses shockwaves to activate your body’s own healing response, regenerate tissue, identify and lower inflammation in the body, reduce and eliminate pain, encourage blood vessel formation, and get your own stem cells working again.

SoftWave Therapy is unique in that it can induce a healing response and tissue regeneration without having to damage the tissue first.

reviews

“Prior to working with Active Life Project, my low back would chirp at me — like a smoke detector in need of a battery change.”

For a while, I tried to “tune it out” by using some over-the-counter pain medications. But the longer it “chirped”, the more my back pain started to interfere with my life. It got to the point where I was having to decide between doing the things I love (like golfing) or dealing with days of discomfort following a round of golf — or even an hour at the driving range.

I was living my life in a smaller and smaller box as time went on, which made me feel even worse (as a former collegiate athlete, that was not the life I was accustomed to). I started to wonder if it was going to be something I just had to deal with going forward.

Active Life Project took the time to get to know more about me, the person — not just me, the back pain. While they wanted to help silence “the chirp”, they also wanted to get to the reason why it started in the first place.

Above all else, they made the entire process feel more personal than any doctor I’ve ever met. I can’t thank them enough!
